Kurt is a corporate lawyer specialized in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and all fields of transactions (e.g. (private equitey) investments, joint ventures, partnerships, restructurings, etc).

Prior to starting CoTra in 2019, Kurt worked as corporate lawyer at:
Sherpa Law (leading partner of the Corporate and M&A department)
Ambos Law (managing partner and leading partner of the Corporate and M&A department)
Allen & Overy, (senior) associate at the Corporate and M&A department

Kurt was also general legal counsel at Alcopa NV (Group Moorkens) .

Kurt is a graduate of the University of Antwerp (Law degree, 1993). In 1994-1995 he also obtained an LL.M. at the Westfälische Wilhelms Universität Münster (Germany) and a D.E.S.S. at Université Aix-Marseille III (France).
