Wim is a corporate lawyer specialized in advising and assisting national and international clients on M&A transactions, joint-ventures, corporate law, real estate and general contract law. He has gained experience in a wide variety of sectors, including real estate, private equity and (renewable) energy. His expertise has repeatedly been recognized by international legal directories such as Legal 500 and IFLR.

Prior to joining CoTra in 2023, Wim worked as a corporate lawyer at:

• Loyens & Loeff (2004-2022): associate, counsel and partner in the corporate/m&a department, member of the real estate team and of Loyens & Loeff’s French desk; and

• Allen & Overy (1999-2004): associate in the corporate & m&a department.

Wim graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of Antwerp in 1999. In 2016, he obtained a master in real estate at the University of Leuven (magna cum laude).
