CoTra Law is proud to announce that Wim Vande Velde joined CoTra Law as a partner,  alongside current partners Kurt Faes and Davy Smet.

Wim has 25 years of experience in advising and assisting national and international clients on M&A transactions, joint-ventures, corporate law, real estate and general contract law. He has gained experience in a wide variety of sectors, including real estate, private equity and (renewable) energy. His expertise has repeatedly been recognized by international legal directories such as Legal 500 and IFLR.

COTRA LAW ASSISTS SMULDERS ON THE ACQUISITION OF ASK ROMEIN HILLEBRAND’S BRANCH IN VLISSINGEN (THE NETHERLANDS)

CoTra Law has assisted Smulders in the acquisition of ASK Romein Hillebrand’s production site in the port of Vlissingen.

CoTra’s transaction team assisted Smulders both in drafting the transaction documents and in conducting the negotiations and the successful closing of this transaction.

Smulders is an international steel construction company with over 1,000 employees spread across facilities in Belgium, Poland and the UK. Smulders has years of experience in the engineering, production, supply and assembly of mainly heavy and technically complex steel structures. The acquisition of the ASK Romein Hillebrand production site allows Smulders to permanently establish itself in the port of Vlissingen.
