COTRA LAW ASSISTS PYTHAGORAS MUSIC FUND IN THE ACQUISITION OF CLOWN MUSIC NV

CoTra Law advised Pythagoras Music Fund on the acquisition of the shares of Clown Music NV, a Belgian company that owns song catalogues of, among others, Johnny Hoes, Doe Maar and Eddy Wally.

Pythagoras Music Fund is a Dutch investment fund that acquires music rights worldwide, with a focus on continental Europe. With the acquisitions of Clown Music NV, the fund realised its second acquisition in Belgium and acquired song catalogues with songs by, among others, Johnny Hoes, Doe Maar and Eddy Wally.

The transaction team at CoTra Law assisted Pythagoras Music Fund in drafting the transaction documents, conducting the negotiations and successfully closing these transactions.

COTRA LAW ASSISTS THE SELLERS IN THE SALE OF THE PWP GROUP (MICHIELS NV – OMNI-SERV BV – PICARD BV) TO iDOCTA

CoTra Law has assisted the sellers in the sale of the PWP Group (Michiels NV – Omni-Serv BV – Picard BV) to iDocta.

Michiels, like iDocta, operates as a Canon Business Center and is active in the provinces of Antwerp, Flemish Brabant and Limburg. Picard has strong expertise in Kyocera devices and is primarily active in the Limburg region. iDocta was already well established in West Flanders, East Flanders and Wallonia. Through this acquisition, iDocta further strengthens its geographical footprint and enhances its ability to support clients in a broader and more targeted manner, irrespective of brand or application. This transaction aligns with iDocta’s deliberate growth strategy.

The CoTra Law transaction team assisted the sellers throughout the entire transaction process, from letter of intent through to the negotiation, drafting and finalization of the transaction documentation, and the successful closing of the transaction.

CoTra Law advised Pythagoras Music Fund in a transaction relating to the acquisition of the shares of H.K.M. Records NV, Belgian companies that own the song catalogues of Hans Kusters.

Pythagoras Music Fund is a Dutch investment fund that acquires music rights worldwide, with a focus on continental Europe. With the acquisitions of H.K.M. Records NV, the fund realised its first acquisition in Belgium and acquired song catalogues with songs by, among others, Clouseau, Stef Bos.

The transaction team at CoTra Law assisted Pythagoras Music Fund in drafting the transaction documents, conducting the negotiations and successfully closing this transaction.

Prado (founded in 2020 by Thibault Renson) is a Belgian innovative manufacturer of invisible home technology.
